DFW birth photographer, based in Waxahachie

You'll be too busy to watch your baby's birth. I won't be.

I'm Jordan Flores. I photograph birth and motherhood across Dallas, Fort Worth and Ellis County.

Seconds after a water birth at home, a newborn rests skin to skin on the mother's shoulder, one tiny fist tucked under the chin
The Meza mother laughs in bed with one of her newborn twins on her chest, the father holding the other twin and their toddler looking on in wonder

"I honestly couldn't even tell she was there."

The Meza family wrote that after I photographed the birth of their twins. You focus on meeting your baby. I'll quietly photograph the rest.

Every breath, every cry, every touch. These are the God-given pieces of your story, and they deserve to be remembered.

I photograph every stage of motherhood

Pick the season you want kept: your pregnancy, your birth, your baby's first days or your growing family.

What happens after you text me?

Here is how a Birth Story Package runs, from our first call to your first photos.

  1. After you book

We plan your birth day together

A planning consultation by phone or video call, so I know your hopes for the day.

  2. From 37 weeks

I go on call for you

Day or night, weekday or weekend, I'm ready to come when labor starts.

  3. Your birth day

    I photograph the whole story

From active labor through 2 hours postpartum: the hard work, the first cry, the first hold.

  4. Within 24 hours

    Your first photos arrive

Five sneak peeks come first. Your final gallery holds 100 to 150+ images, depending on the flow and duration of your birth.

Questions parents ask before booking

What if you can't make it to my birth?

"Births don't always follow a plan. If something unexpected, like a very fast labor or an emergency, keeps me from arriving in time, I will still come to photograph your postpartum moments. If something unexpected keeps me from coming at all, a qualified backup photographer will be there at no additional cost." Read the backup promise

Will you share my photos online?

Only the way you choose. You pick a full release, a faceless release that keeps faces out of anything I share, or no release at all.

Where do Fresh 48 sessions happen?

Wherever your baby is: your hospital room or your home.
